How to Order GoFood Via Google Search and Google Maps

How to Order GoFood – In the ever-evolving digital era, the convenience of ordering food has become a highly appreciated necessity for many people. Now, Gojek, through its food delivery service GoFood, has introduced a new feature that allows users to order food directly through Google Search and Google Maps. This is the result of a collaboration between GoTo (Gojek and Tokopedia) and Google, aimed at providing an integrated food delivery service with both Google platforms.

This initiative aligns with Gojek’s strategy to support Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). By expanding accessibility to a broader customer base through Google’s platforms, Gojek hopes to aid the growth and support of MSMEs. Satria Situmorang, Head of Food and Ads Business at Gojek, mentioned that the collaboration with Google aims to support the growth of GoFood partner businesses. This demonstrates Gojek’s commitment to leveraging technology to support MSMEs.

With this integration, users can not only search for information about restaurants, such as location, opening hours, photos, ratings, and reviews on Google, but also order food directly through the “Order with Google” feature. This feature is directly linked to the GoFood service, either through the Gojek app or the website gofood.co.id. This makes the food ordering experience more convenient and seamless for users.

How to Order GoFood through Google Search and Google Maps

  1. Search and open the profile of your favorite restaurant on Google Search or Maps.
  2. After opening the restaurant profile, scroll down and click the “Place an Order” button.
  3. From the pop-up menu, select the GoFood service.
  4. Users will be directed to the related restaurant’s ordering page on the Gojek app or the GoFood website.

However, it should be noted that not all shops or restaurants have an “order” button on Google Search and Maps. This feature is only available for restaurants that have a Google Business Profile on Google Search and Maps and have partnered with GoFood. Therefore, not all GoFood partner restaurants will have an order button on Google Search and Maps.

The collaboration between Gojek and Google is expected to provide significant benefits for MSMEs and users overall. Users can enjoy the convenience of ordering their favorite food through Google’s widely known and used platform. Meanwhile, MSMEs can expand their market reach and increase sales through integration with GoFood.

By utilizing these advanced technological integrations, Gojek and Google aim to enhance the user experience while also promoting and supporting local businesses. This initiative is a win-win for consumers who seek convenience and for MSMEs looking for broader exposure and increased revenue.
