Iraq – The number of Iraqi troops killed as a result of the terrorist attack in Kirkuk Governorate on Sunday has increased to four people. According to reports from sources Sky News Arabia, three officers died in the accident, while one other member died of serious injuries.
Our source also stated that the accident also resulted in injuries to other soldiers.
In a statement, the Security Media Cell stated, “After the painful attacks and qualitative operations carried out by our heroic armed forces in the responsibility sector, which caused heavy losses to the gangs of ISIS and killed a large group of their leaders, these defeated gangs tried to proving the existence of those who don’t exist yet and won’t be coming back.” We thank the brave men in the military and security service.
He also added, “At 10pm yesterday, terrorist elements attacked with light and medium weapons a point belonging to the 32nd Brigade of the 8th Division of the Iraqi army, near Tal al-Ward village in al-Multaqa district, in the Kirkuk governorate.”
Meanwhile, Staff Lieutenant General Qais al-Muhammadawi, deputy commander of joint operations, arrived in Kirkuk to observe the incident and examine the injured.
A joint investigative committee also arrived to find out the circumstances and reasons for the accident and its cause.
The statement ended by saying, “Let the members of the ISIS gang know that our response will be an urgent and unexpected action, and will shake the ground beneath their rotten feet.”
